About Longevity Bloomington
 

Longevity Bloomington is an adult fitness class designed for people aged 50 years and older. The goal of the class is to provide participants with safe and effective functional exercises that are designed to maintain a high quality of life and ongoing independence.  

 

The class is led by a Doctor of Physical Therapy that will take into account your injury and medical history to design a safe and effective program to reach your goals. The class is open to any adult aged 50 and older who wants to participate in a safe and inclusive environment. No exercise experience is required.

What Does a Class Look Like?

​

1. Warm-up: to prepare the body for the specific exercises of the day

​

2. Strength: full body functional movements using bodyweight, barbells, dumbbells and kettlebells

​

3. Conditioning: to improve cardiovascular health using a variety of tools such as bikes, sleds, rowers and bodyweight

​

4. Cool-down: to improve mobility, flexibility and balance

​

*All exercises will be scaled based on the participant's experience to provide the appropriate level of challenge

I am a Physical Therapist and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist who is passionate about helping you achieve your goals. My experience in the clinic will allow me to provide you with safe and effective exercises to improve your quality of life.

Group Class

The group class will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:30 AM at Full House Fitness

​

The class will be one hour in length and will contain no more than ten participants

​

Cost is $15 per class or $120 for a ten class punch card

Push Ups

1 on 1 Sessions
